North London Clinic
Robin Kiashek Osteopath London
Based in North London, I am recognised as an Osteopath by most of the major health insurance companies.
If you have health insurance, either personally or as part of your work cover, you may be able to claim the whole or part of the cost of your treatment.
It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that they have the appropriate level of cover and to gain authorisation from their insurer. If you want to claim for your treatment via your medical insurance, you must obtain consent from your insurance company BEFORE the initial consultation.
Please note that I do not generally deal directly with insurance companies. I require payment to be made directly to me by the patient at the end of each treatment and will then provide you with a receipt which you can provide to your insurer. You can find more details on payment and fees on my “what to expect” page.
For more information on my North London Osteopathy clinic or to book an appointment, please feel free to contact me.
- I do not accept either AXA or BUPA insurance.
- Registration requirements: Most insurers require your osteopath to be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
- GP referral: Some policies stipulate that you must have a referral from your GP or a specialist before treatment is covered.
- Policy limitations: Cover varies depending on your policy, often with a cap on the number of sessions per year (typically 4–12) or a maximum claim value.
- Excess fees: If your policy includes an excess, this amount is usually payable directly to the practitioner.
