If you’re struggling with aches and pains, and are seeking osteopathic treatment in the Highgate (N6) area, then look no further than The Twyford Practice.
Offering bespoke osteopathic treatment, combined with Naturopathy and other allied therapies, I provide a safe and comfortable treatment experience from the suburban setting of The Twyford Practice – which you can find nestled between the north London powerhouses of Finchley and Highgate.
How I can Help:
Osteopathy has been shown to be effective in treating the symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders such as those of muscles, ligaments, joints, nerves, cartilage, tendons and the general skeletal system. As a osteopath for Highgate (N6) I work with a variety of complaints, including one-off workplace or sporting injuries to the back or joints, ongoing treatment of sporting professionals and much in between.
To me, it is vital to not just treat the acute pain, but also to understand where the pain is coming from, so that we can work to ensure that it does not return. Therefore, during the initial 45-minute consultation, I will take a full history to build up a picture of your routines and habits to see where things might be going awry and to establish if there are any significant root cause of the pain that need to be addressed initially.
Through this in-depth and thorough initial consultation, I can ensure that your treatment plan is bespoke, and takes all possible factors into consideration.
Allied Therapies:
With access to not just osteopathy, but also a wide range of other therapies, my treatment plans often engage with a multitude of treatment styles, ensuring a dimensional and well thought out patient experience. This may include the use of:
Western Acupuncture – a therapy which fuses traditional Eastern principles of acupuncture with a Western approach to medicine and science. Primarily known as a treatment which aims to relieve pain, the applications of Western Acupuncture have widened significantly as the practice has evolved.
Naturopathy – a complementary health profession based on the age-old philosophy that the human body has the innate ability to heal itself through nature.
Low Level Laser Therapy – a pain-free, non-invasive treatment that involves a low-power light beam being placed on the injured area.
Autogenic training – a potent relaxation therapy with powerful applications in restoring, healing and developing the body and mind.
A prime location in North London:
Situated just north of Highgate Wood, The Twyford Practice is best accessed from East Finchley underground station, which is only a ten-minute walk.
Only one stop on the northern line from East Finchley, and in walking distance of the bustling Highgate High Street, Highgate underground station is perfect for connecting my N6 patients to my North London practice.
Alternately, if you’re fit and healthy enough, then you can enjoy a picturesque walk to The Twyford Practice from Highgate through Highgate Woods and East Finchley.
Located in the residential Fortis Green area, many of my patients visit my osteopathy clinic in North London from the surroundings areas including Fortis Green, Highgate, East Finchley, and Hampstead Garden suburb.
